The 20 is the grill that started it all! Invented by Charles Eisendrath in 1978 (writer's note: my Dad!) More story in the Additional Info area), this was the first model we ever made. Constructed fully by hand in 304 stainless steel and boasting our signature V-Channel 20" x 20" single surface, she is big enough for a small family to grill comfortably for friends for a lifetime. And importantly, compact enough to leave plenty of space on the patio.
Dan Barber borrowed one of these little guys to practice on while we designed his ultimate Infierno. Bobby Flay also borrowed a 20 for his BBQ Addiction show on the Food Network. He sent us thanks (in the photos). And the grill was auctioned to a fan of his :)
The 20 weighs in around 125 lbs and comes ready to go. Easy to move around wheelbarrow-style or by taking the legs and surfaces off individually (all cooking surfaces, fire grates and ash drawers simply lift off). She can even be installed as a quick "built-in" by putting the legs aside and placing her on a fireproof base of your choosing.
